What Will I Do In This Role?
- Performs various quality inspection functions throughout the plant and warehouse
- Perform various QC lab functions, as required, to include: wash tests and break tests
- Inspect imported, printed and dyed product for quality and record results
- Inspect, prepare and distribute samples for shipment
- Maintain physical pieces of all samples and be able to locate by MSR or SR number
- Keep accurate quality records and files
- Data entry into various systems
- Maintain and distribute various spreadsheets and reports
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management
What Skills Do I Need?
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
- Previous experience working in an office environment
- Prior systems experience using: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, experience using MAPICS preferred
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, carry out a broad range of assignments, suggest process improvements and manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail required
- Ability to work in multiple environments, office, plant and warehouse
- Ability to lift by hand (up to 30 lbs.) or by mechanical assistance
- PPE required, such as, hand, eye and face protection
