What Will I Do In This Role?
- Open and close the store at posted times
- Maintain appropriate stock levels in display area as established by manager
- Greets and provides exceptional service to customers in a friendly manner
- Makes cash and charge sales accurately
- Counts cash and checks daily, prepares bank deposit and fills out daily sales sheet
- Maintains store merchandise in a clean and attractive manner
- Assists in training of new employees
- Applies pricing to merchandise under manager’s direction
- Creates craft merchandise
- Closes out register at end of the day
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management
What Skills Do I Need?
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales experience, strong sewing and craft background
- Ability to work in customer-oriented environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to use a pallet jack
