What Will I Do In This Role?
- Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Repair loom stops as necessary to maintain maximum loom efficiency
- Inspect ribbon to insure good quality
- Walk warp alleys to prevent wraps and warps, or issues which may cause loom to stop
- Flag looms for fixer that require either mechanical or quality adjustments
- Control quality by insuring proper filling is being used
- Calls supervisor after flagging loom for same problem 3rd time
- Maintains good housekeeping as necessary
- All other duties assigned
- High School Diploma or GE
- Ability to read and write
- Good communication skills
- Work under minimum supervision
- Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. above head
- Manual dexterity
- Must use cognitive reasoning skills to make adjustments on equipment to ensure quality
- Must be able to develop and execute plans for daily work routine in an efficient and effective manner
- Work in climate controlled area
