About This Opportunity:
Floco Foods is a leading grocery store chain dedicated to providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Grocery Stocker PT to join our team at IGA Southeast.
Main Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, engaging with all customers and co-workers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Product Display and Rotation: Rotate and display products on shelves according to Floco Foods' standards and productivity guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Maintain organized and inventoried backstock in the backroom area, minimizing damage and shrink through proper inventory control.
- Sanitation and Temperature Control: Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area, communicating temperature problems to your supervisor as necessary.
- Ordering and Receiving: Order product for aisles (as assigned by management) and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to Work Well with Others: Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Lifting and Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally, with the ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts, and operate a pallet jack for extended periods.
- Knowledge of Grocery Operations: Familiarity with grocery operations and a demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand information and direction, with effective communication and customer service skills.
