Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Deli/Bakery Clerk PT to join our team at IGA Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Excellent Customer Service
- Prepare Product for Sale, including frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, and pricing.
- Maintain Product Level, Quality, and Freshness
- Maintain Sanitation Standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
- Communicate Guest Requests to Management and temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
- Keep Supply Area Neat, Clean, and Tidy at all times.
- Perform All Other Duties as Assigned by Management.
- Announce Specials and Sales Information on the PA System.
- Assist in Product Receiving and Storage.
Requirements:
- A friendly, outgoing personality.
- The ability to work well with others.
- The ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- The ability to read and understand information and direction.
- Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- The ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
