IGA Southeast is a family-owned grocery store in the Carolinas, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. We are seeking a skilled Deli Cook PT to support our deli department's efforts to deliver high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- To consistently demonstrate superior guest interaction skills and ensure that every encounter with our customers is positive and memorable.
- To maintain the highest standards of quality, sanitation, and safety throughout the deli department, adhering to our company's guidelines and regulations.
- To perform various tasks including product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and providing exceptional guest service as necessary to meet our standards.
- To actively engage with guests, have fun, and work well with others to create a positive and supportive team environment.
- To effectively communicate with and take direction from supervision.
Required Skills:
- A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of deli operations and chicken kitchen procedures.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Working Conditions:
This position requires standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
