What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant (Temporary) position at IGHL?
The Administrative Assistant is responsible to assist the Human Resource Team.
This position is temporary part-time Monday-Friday 12-5
Duties and Responsibilities
E- Connotes Essential Functions
E-1 Prepare employment verification letters for staff, government agencies or outside companies.
E-2 Process subpoenas and request for employee files.
E-3 Input Temp Agency Staff information into HRIS system.
E-4 Input employee incidents (warnings, med errors, counseling’s and notes to file) into the
HRIS system.
E-5 Front desk coverage Monday-Friday from 12p-1p and 4p-5p. and as needed.
E-6 Sort and file duplicate files as needed.
E-7 Assist Recruitment Team with making new hire folders, calling references, printing ID cards, etc.
E-8 Assists with filing for the Human Resource Department.
E-9 Assist with mailings, orientation packets, safety packets, etc.
E-10 Assist with projects as needed for all members of the Human Resource Team.
E-11 Upholds the highest level of confidentiality.
E-12 All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Enthusiastic team player, excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Facebook/Instagram, Internet Explorer preferred)
- Ability to multitask, handle a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality
