Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a nonprofit setting. This role will involve setting appointments, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule and manage appointments for team members and program participants.
- Assist with bilingual communication, including translating documents or interpreting as needed.
- Provide general administrative support, such as data entry, filing, and organizing materials.
- Support outreach efforts to engage with our diverse community.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- MUST BE Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous customer service or administrative experience is a plus but not required.
