Ignite Digital Services has an exciting opportunity for a Logistician in Charleston, SC. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is a motivated self-starter, with excellent attention to detail, who can perform a variety of functions under competing deadlines. The Logistician will join a team delivering acquisition management strategy and execution for federal government clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide program management and configuration management (CM) support for the Office of Naval Research and Advanced Technology Research Integrated Product Team, activities to include managing project budgets/costs, schedules, performances, briefing slides, and risks.
- Provide support to a Logistics Specialist in Strategic Lifecyle logistics which includes but not limited to material management and material procurement across several projects.
- Learn and understand Command and team organizational relationships to effectively communicate information appropriately and effectively.
- Tailored configuration management processes and documentation to provide proper CM control for various levels of acquisition programs.
- Used SharePoint, CMPro, and MS Teams to establish CM control of IdOps programmatic, logistics, engineering documentation, and technical baselines.
- Evaluate current programmatic processes and procedures and initiate process improvement actions to improve team performance.
- Establish and maintain consistency with product/system performance, functional and physical attributes, design, and operation throughout the product/system life cycle
- Assist with technical and business analyses and reporting for assigned projects.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings. Capture meeting minutes; assign and tracking action items; and coordinate and facilitate leads and working groups to meet project objectives.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews on products and processes to ensure compliance with policies and directives.
- Establish and maintain knowledge management best practices using MS Office 365 tool suite. Leverage tool suite capabilities to maximize efficiencies in communication and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum four (4) years of Federal contract management experience
- Demonstrated strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries
- Demonstrated experience developing analysis to support programmatic decision-making
- A proven ability to multi-task, manage time, and organize/plan
- Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-oriented approach
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD/DoN systems acquisition programs
- Experience with NIWC Atlantic and DoN program and financial management processes and best practices
- Demonstrated experience managing information in CMPro
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining schedules leveraging MS Project
