Ignite Digital Services has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Program Manager in the Northern Virginia / Washington, DC area. The candidate will provide direct support to OPNAV N16 leadership and lead the IDS team currently engaged with MPT&E process and IT infrastructure transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the DoD and have demonstrated experience in management of complex projects and teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with N16 leadership to oversee and manage cost, schedule, and performance
- Develop and conduct recurring and ad hoc senior leadership briefs
- Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management
- Conduct process improvement assessments and present findings in a professional and compelling manner
- Apply analytic techniques in support of the evaluation of program/project objectives
- Take ideas from whiteboards to briefs, and be proactive with ideas on leadership presentations and discussions
- Drive engagement with N16 leadership and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for intersections and expanded support across the N1 organization
- Collect, complete, organize, and interpret contractual data relating to projects and programs
- Build strong relationships with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive engagement and align objectives
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- Advanced in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Capability to identify challenges and opportunities independently and propose actionable solutions
- Specialized project management support experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable project management support
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies
Salary: $120k to align with experience and education
Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite - possible schedule of up to 5 days a week onsite
