Responsibilities
- Support logistics maintenance modifications and installs for hardware and software changes to engineering baselines in Model Based Product Support (MBPS)
- Ability to access Configuration Data Managers Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), MBPS, NDE ILS Certs
- Interface with Alteration Installation Teams and Departmental and IPT Configuration Management Leads
- Maintain files (Install) updates to records for shore (post-install updates)
- Coordinates with IPT Logistics Lead and CSM Lead to ensure Work File CN are processed accurately to meet IMS and POA&M requirements
- Provide reports as required (or upon request) to Program and IPT leadership on risks, issues, or concerns with data and MBPS processes
- Evaluate current processes/procedures and initiate process improvement actions
- Establish and maintain knowledge management best practices for simplified document retrieval, correlation, and analysis of completed tasks while utilizing a common workspace for team projects on SharePoint/Teams
- Gain and maintain sufficient knowledge of all enterprise tools and structure to direct personnel to correct points of contact.
- Advanced Configuration Management knowledge and skills to include how to review and evaluate engineering hardware and software baselines
- Familiar knowledge and technical skills of MBPS database
- Intermediate knowledge and technical skills of CMPRO and CDMD-OA databases
- 5 years of consulting or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to serve as an escalation point for customer concerns if/when they arise and identify appropriate resolution to achieve client satisfaction in a timely manner
- Working experience with federal government agencies
- General Familiarity with Navy Modernization Process (NMP) and associated systems (Navy Data Environment – NDE, Change Documents, etc.)
- Experience with customer relationship management and problem management to deliver quality service to application sponsors, stakeholders, and users
