Ignite is currently recruiting for a professional to perform Materials Management/Shipping and Receiving, supporting the International Space Station (ISS) at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This position will be full-time, within a long-term sustainment contract.
This position will be full-time, within a long-term contract supporting strategic, tactical and organizational planning activities. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide receiving inspection of all inbound hardware supporting the ISS program
- Create and maintain accurate records of hardware within various inventory management systems
- Perform handling and packaging of critical flight hardware for proper storage and/or shipment
- Communicate with procurement agents and property management to assist in resolving all documentation discrepancies
- Coordinate and assist with movement of all ISS hardware within the Kennedy Space Center
- Perform kitting of parts for on-going projects/repairs to satisfy work order requirements
- Direct the shipping and handling of all ISS hardware departing out of the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in support of the ISS program

- Lift, push, and pull 35 pounds
- Bend, kneel, squat, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Use a pallet jack to move materials up and down ramps
- Offload trucks and stage inventory in a warehouse
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, banding machine, pallet jacks, and forklift
Required Skills:
- Ability to work effectively both independently and cooperatively in a team environment
- Quickly familiarize and adapt to new tasks while under minimal supervision
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize multiple assignments in a dynamic and challenging work environment

Required Experience:
A minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably related to logistics, material management, manufacturing or supply chain. Bachelor degree preferred, but not required. Specific experience associated with the space industry or International Space Station is not required.
