Position Overview :
Ignite is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead and facilitate an Agile software development effort supporting the Air Force at Gunter Annex near Maxwell AFB, AL. This position is integral to driving successful delivery of high-quality software solutions while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with the development team, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure that Agile principles and practices are effectively implemented and maintained.
Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary facilitator for the Agile software development team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Remove impediments and roadblocks to support the development team in meeting their commitments.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with Air Force mission objectives.
- Monitor team progress using Agile metrics and provide regular reporting to stakeholders on team performance and sprint outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices to continuously improve team performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with Air Force stakeholders to ensure alignment between project deliverables and mission needs.
