Position Overview:
The maintenance associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our Performing Arts Center, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for performers, staff, and guests. This role involves cleaning studios, restrooms, lobby areas, and other shared spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dance studios, including floors, mirrors, door handles, barres, and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, ensuring toilets, sinks, and floors are regularly sanitized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Keep lobby areas, hallways, and common spaces tidy, dust-free, and presentable.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly.
- Restock and monitor inventory of bathroom supplies, paper products, cleaning materials, and other necessary items.
- Sweep, mop, clean surfaces, and disinfect door handles throughout the facility.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels by notifying management of low supplies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors.
- Report any maintenance issues to management, including outdoor furniture damage or necessary repairs.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or facility maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Fix-it skills a plus.
- Ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive motions as required for cleaning duties.
