Behavioral Health Consultant
Location : Hybrid
Salary Range : $95,000 - $160,000 per year
Sign-on Bonus : $10,000

We’re looking for a compassionate Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) who is passionate about supporting the whole person and making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families. In this hybrid role, you'll provide behavioral health services through a collaborative, integrated care model, working alongside a dedicated team of primary care providers.
What You’ll Do : Direct Patient Care
- Offer brief, targeted psychotherapy to address issues identified by primary care providers
- Perform initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments to create personalized care plans
- Identify and address any social, emotional, or economic factors that may impact a patient’s overall well-being
- Deliver compassionate therapy to patients and families, focusing on whole-person care
- Help manage co-occurring disorders by integrating them into patient care plans
- Provide crisis management and psychoeducation, empowering patients and families
Collaborative Team Support
Work hand-in-hand with primary care providers to integrate behavioral health into medical treatment plansActively participate in quality improvement initiatives and team activities that support our missionContribute to a positive work environment by maintaining strong relationships with staff, patients, and the publicJoin in case conferences, trainings, and team meetings to stay connected with the larger missionUphold the values of collaboration and teamwork, contributing to the overall success of the organizationRegulatory Compliance & Professional Growth
Follow BHC protocols and participate in credentialing processesStay current with continuing education to maintain licensure and enhance professional skillsDocument legible, legally sound medical records in a timely mannerWhat You Bring :
A Doctorate degree in psychology (with a valid CA Psychology License), or a Master’s degree in social work (LCSW), marriage and family therapy (LMFT), or counseling (LPCC) with a valid California licenseAt least 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adults, and / or adolescents, including child / adolescent experienceExperience with health-related psychotherapy, such as smoking cessation, weight management, or working with patients with chronic medical conditionsBilingual (English / Spanish) skills are preferred, but not requiredWhy You'll Love Working With Us :
