Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key role in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals and culture by collaborating with executive and mid-level leaders, as well as the broader employee population. The HRBP acts as the primary HR contact for assigned client groups and provides trusted guidance on HR-related matters. This position champions employee engagement and leads change initiatives, with a focus on workplace trends and analytics. The HRBP anticipates HR needs for both local and remote employees and works across HR functions to deliver value-added services that support business objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Perform a wide range of HRBP responsibilities, including managing employee relations, supporting talent development, and implementing succession planning strategies.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees, resolving issues and developing strategies to prevent similar challenges in the future.
- Assist management in forecasting and planning talent requirements in line with business and organizational strategy.
- Partner with Compensation to prepare job descriptions and collaborate with Recruiting for hiring needs.
- Implement HR programs, ensuring they are adopted by client groups and have a long-term, positive impact.
- Communicate client needs to other HR functions and determine required HR services.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive organizational improvement.
- Offer day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, career development, and addressing disciplinary actions.
- Provide interpretation and guidance on HR policies and procedures to both managers and employees.
- Stay updated on legal requirements related to employee management, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks.
- Analyze workplace trends and identify challenges, proposing improvements to leadership.
- Partner with Organizational Talent & Development (OTD) to create and deliver training programs for management on topics like interviewing, performance management, and policies.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s preferred.
- 5-8 years of HR experience.
- 2-5 years in a strategic HR role supporting complex or matrixed organizations.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR preferred.
- Experience supporting remote teams preferred.
- Experience in a technology-driven enterprise is a plus.
Technical / Functional Skills / Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Ability to build strong relationships with leadership and employees to ensure alignment and success.
- In-depth knowledge of HR disciplines, including organizational development, employee relations, performance management, and legal compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management and change management skills.
- Business acumen with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, transitioning environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Travel: Some travel required to visit multiple locations.
