Position Summary:
As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and client base, building relationships with C-suite and executive leaders to identify and place top talent in leadership roles. This 100% commission-based position is ideal for a motivated, entrepreneurial sales professional with a background in marketing, event management, and executive search consulting. Based in Southern California, this role offers the unique opportunity to shape your income and career path, with no earnings cap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities through networking, events, and marketing efforts, targeting key decision-makers across industries.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with executives, hiring managers, and HR leaders, ensuring an understanding of their specific needs and organizational culture.
  • Consultative Selling: Offer insights into the executive search process, demonstrating expertise and industry knowledge to position our firm as the partner of choice for critical talent acquisition.
  • Marketing and Events: Plan and participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the firm’s services, build brand awareness, and expand the client network.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active pipeline of potential clients and executive candidates, tracking engagement through each stage of the recruitment and placement process.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms of service agreements with clients, balancing the firm’s and client’s needs to secure placements effectively.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and talent shifts to inform business development strategies and add value to client relationships.

Qualifications:

- Proven Sales Experience: 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within executive search, consulting, or professional services.

  • Marketing and Event Experience: Background in organizing and attending industry events, networking functions, and marketing campaigns to support business growth.
  • Executive Presence: Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Self-Driven: Ability to work independently in a commission-based environment, demonstrating resilience, drive, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Networking Skills: Established network of executive and senior-level contacts across various industries in Southern California.
  • Consultative Approach: Ability to assess client needs, provide tailored recommendations, and position solutions effectively.
