Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will lead and manage all sales initiatives and client engagement for all of Ignite Industrial Professionals external client business. He / she will also be responsible for conducting all sales-related items as well as maintaining customer relationships and ensuring team performance to the client’s expectations. He / She will also maintain electronic filing and other administrative tasks. Candidate must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
Classification : Full Time, Exempt
Reports To : Branch / Operations Manager
Supervises : No Direct Reports at this time
Department : Sales
Travel Required : Local travel - Must live in Dallas TX area
Essential Responsibilities
- BDM will identify potential customer leads, and cold calls, gain appointments, and execute a sales funnel process through close. Use CRM and other tools made available to maintain sales prospects and the entire sales process.
- Ensures sales growth through aggressive market strategies and account development. Hit sales targets in both revenue and profitability. Maintain the customer relationship throughout the sales process and during service delivery.
- Build and utilize sales funnels along with tracking to help with reporting.
- Retrieves detailed job orders from clients. Works closely with Operations / Clients to ensure hiring needs are understood and assist in developing a plan to meet client needs.
- Engage with local branch teams to ensure that our customers' orders are filled with the talent they need.
- Provide relevant data to the Director / VP to support sales performance
- Maintains exceptional relationships with all clients. Maintain a high level of visibility and communication with the customer to help ensure we're providing exceptional customer service.
- Take an active role in civic and trade organizations in the market
- Entertain clients and prospects in a very professional manner
- Help develop best practices for Ignite based on industry best practices.
- Manage the activities of the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments to ensure timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing, tax compliance, billings, and cash receipts application
- All other duties as assigned
