Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure, including VMware, Cisco UCS, Sun M Servers, RHEL, and Windows Server
- Automate configuration, deployment, and compliance enforcement using Ansible, Red Hat CloudForms, and Morpheus Data
- Design and execute disaster recovery procedures, ensuring alignment with USCB COOP strategies
- Manage hybrid cloud integration and workload migration strategies
- Collaborate with Security Operations teams to enforce security policies and implement hardening measures
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system performance issues
- Support IT Lab testing, cloud prototype development, and proof-of-concept deployments
- Manage enterprise monitoring solutions, ensuring single-pane-of-glass visibility into infrastructure health
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7 years of experience in managing data centers, modernization environments, or similar work experience
- Wide range of experience with infrastructure-related languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, SQL, etc
- Strong knowledge of data center operations, cloud services, and server platforms
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to solve complex technical challenges
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance as required for program performance and access to sensitive information
- Knowledge of relevant government regulations (such as NIST, FISMA, or DFARS) and experience with preparing detailed technical documentation, reports, and proposals in compliance with federal standards
- Proficient in systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, and testing for complex systems, with a deep understanding of hardware and software interfaces
