We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team in supporting government cloud infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in documentation and development as part of a large enterprise, as well as strong experience with a variety of IT and documentation frameworks.
As a Technical Writer, you will:
- Develop and maintain documentation for enterprise IT infrastructure, security policies, and operational procedures.
- Create SOPs for data center management, system patching, compliance enforcement, and disaster recovery.
- Document change, configuration, and problem management workflows.
- Develop end-user guides for automation tools such as Ansible and Morpheus Data.
- Maintain version-controlled repositories for infrastructure documentation.
- Support IT Lab knowledge base and training materials for new technologies.
- Ensure documentation aligns with federal compliance standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Experience with IT documentation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite Server, Ansible, Morpheus Data.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements (NIST, FISMA).
- 2 years of experience in similar roles
