Description
Ignite Team Partners is seeking a Purchasing Manager experienced in the Skilled Nursing industry to join our dynamic team located in Park Ridge, IL. This is a hybrid role, mostly remote but with the ability for in-office work
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Developing relationships with vendors in multiple markets
o Have a sourced list of service providers in case of emergency
· Source and negotiate products and services as requested
· Develop and manage a contract management system that stores and tracks all vendor contracts
· Perform RFP for long term contracts such as Pharmacy, Food, Medical Supplies
· Conduct QBR’s with major vendors
· Work with utility companies and providers due to frequent rate changes
· Assist with acquisitions and new construction facilities
· Work with Accounts Payable to ensure pricing per contract matches vendor invoices
Qualifications for Purchasing Manager
· Associates degree in a related field preferred
· 5-7 years of prior experience working in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required
· Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends
· Working knowledge of negotiation techniques in SNF industry
· Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport
· Positive and professional demeanor
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Great team player
· Flexible to travel and work long hours as necessary

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
