We are looking for a Event Sales Associate to work within our event based division. Our marketing division is growing and implementing tailored event sales strategies has proven to be massively successful for our clients. This is why we need to grow even more.
We are looking for:
- Proactive sales and events associates with an understanding that there will be a large percentage of proactive sales as well as reactive inquiries.
- Understanding of the industry - experience within hospitality and customer service is an advantage.
- A bubbly, friendly, proactive personality
- Ability to communicate & coordinate in a team environment
- Previous experience working in a customer facing industry is an advantage.
- Ability to create and implement sales plans in an event based setting
- Up-selling from reactive sales, convert the maximum amount of inquiries as possible into real customers
- Understanding of the local market, competitor analysis and ability to keep up to date with area knowledge
- Ability to keep well organized and remain on top of work
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan events from inception to completion, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and enhance guest experiences through upselling and hospitality initiatives.
- Analyze event outcomes to improve future planning and execution
