- Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- The individual in this position will serve as a team member at the FAA 145 Repair Station
- The candidate must possess the ability to perform maintenance on turbine-powered helicopters, with a particular emphasis on models Bell 206, 407, and 429. Factory training from Bell and Rolls-Royce is preferred
- Experience in tracking and balancing is preferred
- The role entails direct involvement in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet
- A broad knowledge base coupled with strong troubleshooting capabilities, alongside a willingness to learn and develop continuously, is essential
- An understanding of FAA regulations, accompanied by a customer-centric approach to problem-solving, is required
- The candidate should exhibit an enthusiastic demeanor paired with a professional style of communication
- Previous experience with Bell helicopters and strong avionics troubleshooting capabilities are desirable
- Job Requirements**
- A high school diploma is required; an Associate's Degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance is preferred
- An FAA Mechanic's Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings is mandatory
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a helicopter maintenance environment is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of avionics systems troubleshooting is desired
- Proficiency in computer applications, including CAMP, Traxall, Corridor, Word, Excel, and project management software, is preferred
- Demonstrated skills in project management are desired
- The candidate must comply with and successfully complete FAA-approved Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Programs
