Key responsibilities include performing administrative duties while ensuring all objectives are met. You will lead the production team in creating a dynamic work environment that prioritizes employee safety, product quality, food safety, and positive employee relations.
This will involve applying Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques aligned with our core company values and behaviors.
Clear communication with Team Members about project timelines and urgent tasks is essential. You will actively promote positive community relationships through personal involvement and support for local government and community programs.
Additionally, you will guarantee compliance with all quality and food safety requirements to safeguard our customers and consumers, adhering to state and federal regulations.
Other responsibilities encompass developing and training Team Members, conducting monthly safety meetings and group discussions, and troubleshooting production challenges.
You will compute quarterly figures and assess their alignment with objectives, address Team Member grievances, and undertake other duties as needed. In the absence of the Plant Manager, you will also assume that role.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
**Education:**
A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. **Experience:** A minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience in a manufacturing plant is essential, with preference given to candidates possessing food manufacturing experience.
This role demands a comprehensive understanding and control of the production process, maintenance, shipping and receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, accounting, safety, human resources, and material management. You will oversee the entire plant operation in the Plant Manager’s absence.
