Job Description

Senior Structural Design Engineer to help lead their structural design team. This role offers a unique blend of responsibility and flexibility, focusing on both structural design work and management. Beyond technical expertise, the Lead Engineer will play a crucial role in project development.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the division head to clients, consultants, contractors, and associated project representatives
• Guarantees seamless project delivery under strict deadlines
• Manages and delivers all milestones through a project life cycle
• Prepares and executes document specifications for all project types
• Guides and encourages the development of junior level team members as the organization continues to expand
  
  

Requirements

• Must be a Florida licensed professional engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree preferred
• 10 years in structural design, drafting, and detailing for a wide range of project types
• Expertise working onsite and conforming to drawings, specifications, and plans
• Strong familiarity with local code requirements and associated governing agencies
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
• Excellent planning, organization, and detail orientation skills
• Experience working with contractors, time frame management, and industry applied methods Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Bently, and RISA3D, or similar FEA software
