Job Overview

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring immediate support during critical situations.
- Offer clinical counseling sessions focusing on various issues, including chronic pain counseling and gender issues.
- Implement therapeutic techniques such as dance therapy to promote emotional expression and healing.
- Engage in research and data collection to enhance treatment methodologies and contribute to program development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address the needs of clients, including those with autism spectrum disorders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field with appropriate licensure as an LMHP.
- Proven experience in clinical counseling with a focus on crisis intervention and chronic pain management.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and research practices related to mental health services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals facing gender issues.
- Knowledge of therapeutic approaches for working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred.
