Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Individual will be deeply ingrained in all facets of the PEO Missiles and Space (M&S) Integrated Fires Directorate coordinating across multiple disciplines to ensure that cohesive Acquisition Logistics Support efforts, Sustainment Supply Strategies, and Supply Chain Management policies are relevant and available for the current and future baseline system(s). This is done by participating in various IPTs and working groups and reviewing/ensuring the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) between the Project Manager (PM) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are in accordance with the user requirements and the programs’ Product Support Strategy (PSS). · In addition to monitoring the development of acquisition products and sustainment support requirements, there may be a need to utilize approved analytical tools to assist in the development of product support strategy flowing down requirements to all IPT members. Analytical tools consist of Analysis of Alternatives (AOA), Supportability Analysis (SA), Reliability Growth Analysis, Core Logistics Analysis/Core Depot Assessment, and Business Case Analysis processes. · Ensuring critical and strategic thinking (i.e., analysis, assessment, conception, and collaboration) are vital to the decision-making process and that applicable courses of action (COAs) are created and implemented to address major issues/challenges associated with the IF System of Systems programs. · May serve as a Lead for an IPT or Working Group to support the PEO M&S Integrated Fires objectives.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
· 10 years’ experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management in a Government office
· Logistics experience supporting DoD weapon systems
· Demonstrated ability to work as part of an integrated team
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications:
· Highly desired: experience with PEO MS systems, such as IBCS, LTAMDS, Sentinel, IFPC, and/or PATRIOT or other missile defense systems.
· Experience with DoD/Army, defense industry and related stakeholders.
· DAWIA Program Management and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
· Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, policies, and regulations.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Education Requirements:
• Master’s degree 10 years’ experience -or- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, project management, business, etc.) 18 years’ experience
Other Requirements:
Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance
10% travel required
