Ignite is currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented Tester to join our team supporting a US Army Customer, in Huntsville, AL. This position is expected to be hybrid.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

• Experience in automation testing

• Detail-oriented

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Able to collaborate with development team and government clients, and work within the AGILE framework

• Able to understand acceptance criteria and write appropriate test cases

• Execute tests against a program or system to identify defects, ensure software quality, provide information for decision making, and avoid defects in the future

• Able to complete daily testing in support of enterprise sustainment activities

• Able to multitask and prioritize efforts

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

Provide primary job duties:

• Job Duty 1 with % of time – Analyze Requirements/Data – 40%

• Job Duty 2 with % of time – Create/Design test case library – 50%

• Job Duty 3 with % of time - Attend Meetings/briefings/conferences-10%

 

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

 

 

Education Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of experience

 

 

Other Requirements:

Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security Clearance
