Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Execute hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Dig, plant, and care for gardens, ensuring optimal growth conditions for various plant species.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently for landscaping tasks.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties including debris removal, snow plowing, and seasonal clean-ups.
- Monitor the health of plants and lawns, applying fertilizers or pesticides as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance is desirable.
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
