Your Opportunity

Our Nova operation is an underground nickel, copper, cobalt mine with co-located paste and processing plants and a 180 person camp that can double in size during shutdowns.
Nova is located southeast of Kalgoorlie, in the Fraser Range, just off the Eyre Highway and has an all-weather tarmacked air strip. We are seeking an experienced Emergency Services Officer to work alongside our Safety team and continue to provide leadership and develop the capabilities of our Emergency Response Team.
Key accountabilities include :
- Providing leadership and strategic direction in site emergency preparedness;
- Developing and executing training plans, both internal and external for increasing and maintaining the capability of the Emergency Response Team;
- Maintain a high standard of equipment availability through regular inspections, servicing and carrying out required maintenance; and
- Influencing and driving commitment to the ER function on-site.
