As a Renewal Manager for North America, you will be responsible for owning and driving the renewal process for our SaaS subscription contracts across our North American customer base. Your goal is to secure on-time renewals, minimize churn, and ensure customers continue to receive value from our platform. This is a highly cross-functional role where you’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success, Sales, Legal, and Finance to deliver a seamless customer experience and maintain high customer retention rates.
This is a full-time position that may be based remotely or in our Portland, OR headquarters.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of renewal opportunities across mid-market and enterprise accounts in North America.
- Proactively engage with customers prior to renewal dates to assess satisfaction, identify risks or upsell opportunities, and ensure on-time renewals.
- Develop and execute renewal strategies that support customer retention, while driving incremental growth (e.g.: minimum annual uplift, cross sale to new products, upsell etc).
- Partner with VP of Sales to ensure value delivery and help mitigate churn risks.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on larger renewal opportunities or those involving commercial negotiation or expansion (mainly for Strategic and Key Accounts).
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM (Salesforce), ensuring timely updates and clear next steps.
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance teams to ensure contracts are compliant and align with company policies.
Analyze trends in renewal performance and customer behavior to recommend improvements to processes and playbooks.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience
- Fluency in English
Strong commercial acumen and experience with contract negotiations and subscription-based models.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships and influence both customers and internal stakeholders
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple renewals simultaneously
Experience with Salesforce and contract management tools.
Familiarity with KPIs like Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Renewal Rate, and Churn.
