Job Summary
We are a screen & digital printing company in Grass Valley in search of a full-time Digital Roll Label Print and Finishing Operator. Experience is REQUIRED for this position. We cater to OEM customers printing custom labels for their products. We are not a textile or t-shirt printer. We are not a job shop. We are not a retail shop. This is a 40 hour per week full-time position with benefits.
Three years experience with digital roll label production equipment REQUIRED. Presses like Epson, Screen, Domino, Durst, Mark Andy, or similar preferred. Finishing equipment like Grafotronic, GM, AB Graphics, or similar equipment for converting printed media to roll labels (flexo, lamination, semi-rotary die cutting, matrix stripping, slitting, rewinding). Experience in the flexo label industry will also be considered.
On occasion, this position may also involve helping out in other areas of the manufacturing facility.
A qualified candidate will have the following:
Experience with the equipment noted above.
Good communication and problem solving skills.
The ability to read and follow drawings, flowcharts, procedures and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination.
The ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Starting wage DOE ($19 minimum).
Additional wage consideration for candidates with a digital print industry background. Prior experience in a traditional printing environment will also be considered..
After 3 months full time employees gain access to holiday pay, PTO, medical / dental / vision, 401K w/match, and eligibility for discretionary bonuses. PTO accrues from Day 1. Health benefits have a VERY low employee contribution.
Hours are typically 7:30AM - 4PM with a 30 minute meal break but there is some flexibility.
