HOUSTON-OVERNIGHT Commissioned FT Officer
Guards must be able to pay attention to detail at all times, remain alert throughout the shift, and conduct duties in a timely manner.
A residence where the guard is required to monitor cameras, provide access control by not letting in unauthorized personnel on property, opening the gates quickly for the residents, and monitoring the area for any and all suspicious activity.

Job Skills / Requirements
International Guard Services is hiring individuals to monitor and control access to client property.
Applicants must pass a drug and background test and have reliable transportation to and from job locations. Max of 35-hour workweek, but not consecutive.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property
- Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, and occurrences; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Following instructions of manager and client to help provide the best service.
- Must appear, dress, and act professionally
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift (8-12 hrs)
- Must continually be aware of his or her surroundings
- Must be articulate in verbal and written form
- Must practice good judgment in stressful situations
- Must be able to interact with people and problem solve
Salary : $16 - $18
