The Day to Day
- Team Supervision: Oversee the lifeguard staff to ensure rotation, safety, cleanliness, and great guest service.
- Safety Monitoring: Monitor pool and deck areas, respond to emergencies, and follow all safety protocols.
- Incident Reporting: Report any incidents involving guests or employees.
- Service Standards: Ensure the team greets guests and maintains a friendly, professional atmosphere.
- Operational Support: Support daily pool setup, breakdown, and overall upkeep.
- Work with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
- Issue Resolution: Quickly handle guest concerns with a problem-solving attitude.
Qualifications
- Must be 16 years old or older.
- Has previous leadership experience in a pool, recreation, or hospitality setting.
- Must be able to swim to obtain the Lifeguard certification.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills; friendly, proactive, and professional demeanor.
- Can think quickly on their feet to solve guest issues with a calm and resourceful attitude.
- Is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexible with schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A team player who motivates and supports their crew.
