As an Automation Sales Specialist at igus Inc., you will be the customer facing role in supporting our mission in lowering the cost of industrial automation. - Generate and exceed individual and team growth goals through sales of LCA/RBTX products and provide exceptional customer experience and service.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and regularly follow up to convert leads into opportunities.
- Proactively identify and reach out to new potential customers and business opportunities through leads, digital platforms, networking, and research.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
- Work closely with customers and sales to understand their needs and provide solutions that reduce costs and improve technology- from igus LCA and RBTX
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring trust and long-term collaboration.
- Oversee automation projects from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring milestones are met.
- Work with customers, internal departments (engineering, production, global teams and support), and industry partners to deliver seamless project execution.
- Coordinate timelines, resources, and communication for all stakeholders involved.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide expert recommendations on automation solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to customize solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical documentation to customers. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and increase market reach.
- Attend customer site visits, trade shows, or training sessions when necessary?
- Must have experience meeting with customers to address concerns and help provide solutions (B2B sales)
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue in field sales
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable and or 3-5 years of B2B technical sales experience
- Self-starter: motivated, team focused, and results driven
- Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
- Having proficient knowledge and familiarity on Salesforce is a plus
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Strong technical skills: able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on technique using our products
