The Tradeshow Assistant will support the Tradeshow Manager by handling essential administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of tradeshow and mobile exposition planning and execution. This role will assist with logistics coordination, communication with vendors, and detailed record-keeping for tradeshows and events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the tradeshow registration process, including hotel bookings and registration for team members.
- Assist with tradeshow logistics such as shipping, travel, and event materials preparation.
- Maintain an inventory of tradeshow properties, such as signage, materials, and promotional items.
- Handle the processing of invoices and expense tracking for tradeshow-related activities.
- Assist in the creation and organization of marketing materials in coordination with the creative team.
- Assisting and ensuring igus branding and messaging is consistently represented at all events.
- Perform general administrative duties, including email correspondence, document management, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with trade show team that all marketing and samples are on site.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in event management or support, particularly within tradeshows or marketing.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to assist with onsite event coordination as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
