We are recruiting for a Systems Administrator with expertise in Linux, virtualization and enterprise automation to help drive innovations and efficiency in our IT operations. This role is located at our beautiful headquarters located at 2500 River Drive in Moline with access to an on-site gym facility.
Summary of Position:
Are you passionate about designing, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge infrastructure? The Systems Administrators play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our enterprise systems. This includes designing, deploying, and administering enterprise infrastructure, automating business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions and supporting the organization's growth by ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and optimized. This role has an on-call rotation.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration
- Preferred certifications: MCSA, Network , Security , or other industry-standard certifications
- Linux Administration: Proficiency in designing, configuring, and maintaining Linux environments
- Windows Administration: Proficiency in administering Windows OS, SQL databases, software deployment and support, and patching related activities
- Virtualization Expertise: Knowledge of Virtualized compute platforms for virtualized server configuration parameters
- Enterprise Automation: Experience with automation tools for process automation, system administration and software deployment
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with IT service management practices, including ticketing systems and SLAs
- Prior experience with core financial systems strongly desired
Additional Desired Knowledge:
- Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, Rubrik backup solutions.
- Cloud platforms like O365 and Azure.
- Co-Lo Datacenter Familiarity
- Monitoring tools such as Site24x7
- Certificate management and FTP systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design and Administration:
- Architect, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows-based servers within a virtualized environment.
- Oversee enterprise automation initiatives to streamline system administration, software deployments, and business processes.
- Monitoring and Automation:
- Develop proactive monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
- Build and maintain automation tools to improve operational efficiency and deployment processes
Technical Support:
- Provide second and third-level support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- System Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including system maps, data flow diagrams, and rack layouts.
Vulnerability Management:
- Execute monthly vulnerability assessments and mitigation strategies to ensure system security and compliance.
Project Management and Reporting:
- Complete assigned project tasks, providing updates to management and the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical incidents and deliver detailed executive summaries.
- Mentorship and Collaboration:
- Act as a mentor and technical advisor to team members.
- Collaborate with business units and team members to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
On-call and After-Hours Support:
- Participate in on-call rotations to address critical system issues and emergencies as needed.

Physical Requirements

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
