Regional candidates will have access to our beautiful headquarters located on River Drive in Moline, IL. This facility includes a comfortable office environment with an on-site gym facility. This role is also open to remote candidates in select states.
Summary of Position:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will read, interpret, and analyze financial statements, asset liability reports, allowance for loan loss, investment reports, and other financial documents. Your role involves providing written and verbal interpretations of trends, opportunities, threats, or abnormalities in financial data. You'll work as part of a functional team to discuss results and develop strategies to address the insights discovered. You'll also collaborate with various team members to implement departmental strategies that promote the attainment of corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and reports, uncover patterns and trends, and provide insights to assist management in making informed financial decisions.
- Reporting: Update monthly financial data management applications, publish management reports, and prepare various quarterly reports and submission files.
- Auditor Interaction: Respond to auditor and examiner inquiries as directed by management.
- Performance Enhancement: Assist the credit union in implementing projects to enhance performance, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform budget/variance analysis, profitability analysis, peer analysis, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4-year College Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Experience in a financial services industry segment
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and other financial analytic tools; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Past budgeting or forecasting experience
- Knowledge of various allocation methodologies and modeling documentation processes
- Ability to understand model outputs and present meaningful results to management
- At least 3 years of financial modeling experience
- Ability to manage and maintain financial models for risk management strategies
- Experience with loan analytics, including delinquency, forecasting, cash flow, profitability, and scenario analysis
- Ability to mentor less experienced team members

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
