Handyman
Town House Specialty Cleaning is looking for a hardworking and energetic Handyman to join our team. You should be able to undertake tasks, upkeep, and repair the interior or exterior of company premises. We’ll rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and light repairs.
- Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.)
- Undertake light installation or carpeting.
- Repair equipment or appliances.
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs.
- Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting, etc.
Must be able to:
- Learn simple procedures and techniques.
- Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexible schedule.
- Understand simple instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Must effectively communicate verbally and written with all staff members in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Attend all company-required meetings and training.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
- Basic math skills.
- Good communication ability.
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving.
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
