Porter/Cleaner:
Town House Cleaning is looking to hire attentive A Porter / Cleaner to join our team. The cleaner's scope of work includes but is not limited to vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and maintaining all common areas, including bathrooms. The cleaner should also be able to remove stains from various surfaces, be able to complete assigned tasks within the stipulated period and to perform with minimal supervision.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
- Cleans and maintains all public areas, storage areas, and administrative areas.
- Performs maintenance activities such as dusting, vacuuming, and overall maintains all public areas, hallways, and other spaces assigned.
- Clean on request.
- Cleans restrooms.
- Removes and disposes of trash according to client and building specifications.
- Clean outside areas
- Attends company meetings as requested.
- Completes projects as determined by Supervisor.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
Must be able to:
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- Learn simple procedures and techniques
- Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible schedule
- Understand simple instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Must effectively communicate verbally and written with all staff members in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Attend all company-required meetings and training.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
