Route Supervisor:
Town House Specialty Cleaning is looking for a hardworking and energetic Route Supervisor. As a cleaning supervisor, you will supervise the rest of the cleaning crew. Your job duties include scheduling and coordinating staff, performing specialized services to ensure all areas and equipment are clean, and communicating with other departments. You may also hire and train new team members and maintain a custodial budget. You need experience managing people and working as part of a cleaning crew.
Essential Responsibilities:
- The supervision of all cleaning staff focuses on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior whilst on duty.
- Ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building.
- Reviewing work schedules.
- Ordering of cleaning materials.
- Monitoring of all cleaning activities.
- Ensuring all staff is aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to:
- Learn simple procedures and techniques
- Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible schedule
- Understand simple instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Must effectively communicate verbally and written with all staff members in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Attend all company-required meetings and training.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and nametag
Skills:
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures.
- Health and Safety experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma
- Spanish and English Required
- Valid Driver License
- Computer Experience
