Position Summary :

The primary focus of this role is to identify and develop partnership opportunities for iHealth Labs' Product Research and PoC Sales Department. The BD Manager will drive the commercialization and market expansion of innovative products by conducting market research, prospecting potential partners, and negotiating business agreements. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams to align product research goals and sales targets, ensuring new products effectively reach the market.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Market & Industry Analysis

Track and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs related to PoC and IVD products, providing data-driven insights for product research and sales strategies.

  • Monitor local and global regulatory policies, ensuring that all business development activities comply with relevant requirements.
  • Partnership Identification & Management
  • Identify and screen potential business partners (e.g., hospitals, clinics, distributors, technology platforms) to explore collaboration opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, facilitating strategic or project-based collaboration agreements.
  • Manage partnership project delivery and progress, coordinating cross-functional resources to meet collaboration milestones.
  • New Product Commercialization & Promotion
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Product, and Sales teams to devise market entry and commercialization strategies for new products.

  • Act as a liaison for market feedback, relaying product improvement suggestions to the product team.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build and maintain client and partner networks.
  • Sales & Business Targets
  • Develop business expansion plans for target customer segments and regions, leveraging market insights and product strengths.

  • Work with the PoC Sales team to achieve set sales goals and partnership objectives.
  • Participate in contract negotiation, pricing, and agreement finalization, as well as follow up on payments and client satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Project Management
  • Collaborate effectively with Product Research, Compliance, Quality, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Evaluate the feasibility of key projects or partnership models, identifying and mitigating potential risks in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, or sales. Preference for candidates with a background in medical devices, IVD, pharmaceuticals, or digital health.
  • Familiarity with the medical device or PoC ecosystem; solid understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks, commercialization pathways, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and relationship-building abilities, adept at identifying and aligning resources to drive collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating industry trends and market data, with the ability to propose targeted BD strategies.
  • Proven track record in overseeing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Strong English communication (verbal and written); ability to engage in business discussions and review technical materials.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
  • Passion for healthcare and medical innovation, willing to tackle new challenges.
