What We Need:

We are looking for a seasoned news writer to produce newswire (and other platforms) content.This is a weekend overnight position in our downtown Phoenix news operation.

What You'll Do:

• Gather, write, edit, and prepare content (text and audio) for wire service.
• Anchor national and local newscasts as assigned.
• General newsroom responsibilities.

• A strong news background.
• Solid editorial judgement.
• Excellent writing ability.
• A very good grasp of spelling & grammar.
• A high level of time management skills.
