WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
This Staff Accountant position follows a Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, working onsite in our Fort Worth office. We'll provide you with a company laptop and computer equipment so you have everything you need to succeed.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial heartbeat of our projects. You will update and maintain cash flow forecasts based on project spending and hours, ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. You will handle general cost accounting, prepare monthly financial statements, and maintain the general ledger. Throughout the day, you will work closely with project managers to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time. Managing accounts payable and receivable will be a key focus, including coding invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. You will verify correct labor hours are entered into the system and assist in preparing for audits by gathering necessary financial documents.

- 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and accounting software
- Understanding and familiarity with percent complete project-based revenue recognition
Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Time experience is preferred. Experience in project-based manufacturing or the construction industry is also a plus.
