What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Operator position at IHG?
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines to ensure continuous and efficient production workflows. They will set up, operate, and complete basic maintenance of the inserter, ensuring accurate and timely production by monitoring output and performing basic troubleshooting as necessary.
The Opportunity
As a Machine Operator working with a new process, you will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day production requirements for the equipment, ensuring proper procedures are followed and deliverables stay on schedule to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Setup and changeover of the equipment and production orders.
- Coordination of work with other operators.
- Working directly with the technical support group for the equipment.
- Run the Production Orders in their correct priority sequence. Check the details specified on each order, during setup and running.
- Prepare orders for shipping.
- Perform quality checks of process.
- Ensure safe work practices and procedures are being followed and required certificates are kept up to date.

- Three (3) years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance for this Production-On-Demand operation

- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage timelines.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
