SUMMARY:
In an effort and in a manner which furthers ARK Hospitalitys Vision, Mission and Values, this position is primarily responsible for performing tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens according to company quality standards. An attendant is often responsible for sorting items by color, weight and fabric types and making sure items are washed in the proper machine cycle by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sort all linens and treat stains.
- Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents. Proper use of laundry chemicals.
- Take wet, clean items and dry as directed.
- Sort and fold clean dried items.
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs.
- Perform additional laundry services when necessary.
- Being able to work well with others.
- Being willing to help in other areas of the hotel if needed.
ATTENDANCE:
Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
