Summary: IHL is looking for an Associate CAD Designer, Kids Sleepwear/Intimates to join our team! The Associate Designer will be responsible for working closely with the Design Director to create development for in-house and licensed brand collections. Responsibilities:
- Provide production ready artwork/pattern pitch sheets for product development with clear and concise information for factories.
- Knowledge of repeat patterns, textile printing, placed and engineered prints and motifs.
- Maintain library of seasonal patterns and artwork.
- Locate CADS in the design server in accordance with style numbers.
- Communicate with Design and Production through e-mail, Microsoft Excel & Google Docs.
- Follow-up skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong organizational skills.
- Eye for color/proportion and detail oriented. Self-evaluating and checking your own work.
- Collaborate effectively with Designers, Sales and Production to find solutions based on cost and manufacturing limitations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Fashion/Graphic design degree.
- Relevant design experience in kids sleepwear or apparel, 2-5 years preferred.
- Skilled in Illustrator & Photoshop.
- Highly Creative and positive addition to company culture.
Job Logistics
Location: New York, NY – Midtown West
Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000
