We are seeking an experienced, skilled individual to fill the role of Dining Director to oversee the day-to-day operations within the kitchen and lead our culinary team, providing high-quality meals to the residents at our campus in Monroe, Michigan. This position is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the food and beverage and dining services operations in the community. These responsibilities include oversight of procurement, preparation and service of the food per the designated Menu Program, financial management of the department, supervising and training team members. They also include ensuring safe food handling and sanitation of food areas, inventory and rotation of products, accurate record keeping and regulatory compliance. You will create and maintain a high level of resident and family engagement, and practice your excellent communication and organizational skills by teaching, developing, and inspiring team members. This position will work Monday-Friday, may be required to work occasional weekends.

Education: Degree in Culinary Arts, Dietetics, or related field preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is a requirement of this position.
Experience: Minimum three – five years institutional nutrition services experience is required. Three – five years supervisory experience within the food service industry. State and County Survey experience. Experience within senior care industry preferred.
