Apply now to be considered at IHOP a well-known family dining restaurant doing business for nearly 60 years! Starting day 1 you begin a great training program to learn our policies and procedures and to gain the skills that youll need to provide our guests with the fantastic dining experience they expect. We start our Host/Hostesses at $10/hour on up to $16.00/hour.
You will be responsible for greeting guests and seating them promptly, cheerfully, and courteously. Specific duties include opening door for guests arriving and departing, accommodating special needs of guests, managing the Wait List when the restaurant is full, helping Servers by providing guest assistance as needed, maintaining a clean and organized work area, answering the phone, and taking, entering and packaging To-Go Orders.
Qualified applicants must be able to read and write and have effective communication skills, be able to stand for 8 hours, have the ability to transport and carry objects
We have detailed COVID prevention protocols in our restaurants including mask wearing policies, partitions between tables, disinfectants, regular cleaning schedules, and a COVID Prevention Training Program to provide team members the information and skills needed to protect our guests, other employees, and themselves.
