WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
This position is full-time, but the schedule will vary depending on the needs of the restaurant.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
Your role will involve overseeing the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, making daily decisions, providing consistent support to staff, and ensuring positive and consistent guest interactions. Upholding standards, maintaining excellent product quality, and high levels of cleanliness and sanitation will be key responsibilities. One exciting aspect of this position is the opportunity to provide employees with consistent and appropriate feedback to facilitate their development and enhance the overall operation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards and receive proper training through orientations and IHop's training program.
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will also be responsible for conducting line checks in the galley to ensure proper specifications on weights, temperatures, cleanliness, and organization. Additionally, you will be involved in the hiring and training process of high-quality hourly candidates to maintain an adequately staffed unit that guarantees overall guest satisfaction and increased sales. In this role, you will prepare various reports at the end of each shift, including Daily Sales Reports, Daily Cash Interims, Daily Labor controls, and other processes that ensure the control of all company assets. You will also be responsible for ordering food, small wares, uniforms, and other necessary products to maintain operational standards.
